Mark, Congratualtions on you marriage and your MA from Western. There can’t be too many of your can’t be too many of your listeners who are also Western Alumni (Class of ’87) so I had to give you a shout. Gunnison is a special place. All the very best, Chuck
Excellent! You just showed us the value of “Talk to the Duck.” That’s an old programmer term that means: “Talk out your problems, preferably to a duck.”
When we speak, literally talk, we process information differently. Ducks don’t judge us–they just listen.
I learned about this technique in the 1970s (!!) and still use it all the time. Now, I have a whole collection of enormously cute ducks.
